It didn’t take me long to find the Jeep I was looking for. A 2016 Jeep JK. The dealership had put a 2 1/2” spacer with 33” tires and fuel wheels. Looked pretty good but as with all Jeeps, you want to make it your own. The first thing I did was to add some Rough Country grab handles. Easy to install. And they are mounted in a better spot than the roll bar grab handles.
Next up was what all jeeps need was a wench. I purchased a Smittybilt Gen 2 X20 10,000 lb winch with synthetic rope and wireless control.
Next up was a 2.5 in Rough Country Jeep Suspension Lift kit. This was recommended by my mechanic brother. Affordable and I am very happy how it ride and handles.
After the shocks and springs were added we installed a set of Rough Country Front inner fenders. It took about an hour and a half to instal and give the jeep a nice look.
A billet Style Locking Fuel Door was a very easy instal and I like how it gives the Jeep a smoother look with the lockable gas cap.
To make sure that I am ready for any water crossings that we may come across I installed the ARB Differential Breather kit.
Last item at this time was a Smittybilt Fire Extinguisher holder. Always have to be ready. Hope I never need it.
